I’m always instagramming and my blogging about my favourite beauty products, places to visit and what to do in Paris at the moment but it’s actually quite rare that I come on here and have an intimate chat with you guys about the various things going on in my life right now. Today I thought I would share with you guys the different things going on in my busy schedule at the moment but be prepared, it’s all pretty hectic!
One of The Best Hot Chocolates in Paris
It seems as though all of my posts have been about hot chocolate lately but for an absolute chocaholic such as myself, Paris literally is the definition of heaven on earth.
The city isn’t only sugar-coated with alluring architecture and stunning monuments around every corner, it’s also brimming with enticing boutiques and candy-coloured cake shops that charm you in their doorways similarly to how french men do, while perfectly stacked pyramids of macarons and pastries seem to serenade your name from opulent window displays.
But of all the love affairs I have had so far during my time living in the city, my fondness for the menu at Angelina Paris remains eternal.
This past week I have been absolutely dying to escape the bustle of Paris and head to the countryside for a couple of days. My cousin, Mairéad lives a quick train ride from Paris in the North of France so we decided to spend a few days together in a small, but very charming provincial city called Beauvais.
There can be no denying the fact that living between the fashion capital of the world and the colorful streets of Dublin has had a serious influence over my sense of style. While fashion in Paris typically tends to be more classical, revolving around basics pieces and signature items, Dublin street style is a lot more daring and eccentric.
Today I thought I would put together two outfits, one in Dublin and one in Paris to show the contrast between these two unique cities.
My 2017 In Review
It’s hard to believe that the last timeI updated my blog was on New Year’s Eve. Thinking about how fast my time in Ireland flew by over the Christmas break is a bit daunting but honestly I’m so happy to be back in Paris and to be writing our first post here on our blog from the top floor of my brand new Parisian apartment.
I’m not going to lie when I say that 2017 really was one of the best years of my life so far, if not the best one yet. Throughout the year I had so many amazing opportunities to find myself, who I really was and what really made me happy. Not only that, but I also started to make better decisions for myself and overcome some really ballsy goals I set for myself that I’m pretty proud of. Today I wanted to sum up my 2017 for you guys and maybe it’ll give you some inspiration for the new year. Let’s start!
A Short and Sweet Stay in the UK

Our blog seems to be full of travel lately which is just insane! I thought my trip to the South of France would be the last time I would leave Paris until Christmas but it looks like the call of London was just to much for me and I just had to pay a visit to this amazing city.
A Day in Monte-Carlo
Hello everyone! I hope your week is going well so far. Today I’m back on the blog with a little travel post for you guys. If you read my previous post then you’d know I spent last weekend exploring some cities in the South of France. Monaco has always been high up on my bucket list of places to travel. I have always known so many of my friends and members of my family to have gone there, but I’ve never actually been myself until now. Today I thought I’d share some photos I snapped with you and tell you a little about the city.
A Trip to the South Of France
Hey everybody! I hope you’re all doing well. I know it’s been quite a while since I last made a post on my blog but lately things have been quite hectic in Paris. That’s why for this weekend I decided to take a small break from the chaos of college and blogging and embark on a little journey to the South of France.
Over the weekend I got to visit Nice, Marseille and Monaco so look out for more travel posts to follow!
The first city of three that I visited was Marseille. It’s a gorgeous little port city located on the coast.
So I guess this is it. My time in Ireland has come to an end and here I am, writing my first ever blogpost from my desk on the third floor of a parisien apartment. Really it feels so surreal to finally be sharing this new chapter of my life as it is happening with you guys.
If you follow me over on Instagram you probably know by now that I’ve been spending the past few days sightseeing, settling in and really just coming to terms with the fact that I don’t live in Ireland anymore. Today I thought I’d just share some of my thoughts on this with you guys, in case any of you are going through a similar experience or plan to in the future.
New Travel Vlog + Mini Lookbook
Hey everyone! It’s Mew here with another little travel post for you guys!
Ever since the summer began, I’ve been aching to get away to the sun. Last year I spent some time both in Italy and in France and it was just heaven. As much as I love my home, I’m always really grateful to get away from Ireland this time of year. Summers here can be warm, but most days are grey and overcast so it’s always invigorating to hop on a plane and travel somewhere warm and sunny, even if it is just for a little while.
