A Little Update After My Last Post
Not the best quality photo I know but I figured that I would come on here and let you guys know how I’m doing after my last blogpost where I was feeling mentally exhausted and just drained from my bad experiences in Paris.
I’m always instagramming and my blogging about my favourite beauty products, places to visit and what to do in Paris at the moment but it’s actually quite rare that I come on here and have an intimate chat with you guys about the various things going on in my life right now. Today I thought I would share with you guys the different things going on in my busy schedule at the moment but be prepared, it’s all pretty hectic!
My Goals for The New Year
I can’t believe that we’re over two weeks into the new year and I still haven’t made a post talking about the ambitions that I have in 2019. Recently I was catching up on some blogposts about 2019 from Wiishu and Erika and I felt really inspired to write something similar. I love the kick I get from reading other people’s goals and talking about this always gives me the spur of motivation that I need in order to get my life together.
When the year is as fresh as it is in January there is so much potential for anything to happen which is exactly why I feel so pumped to make the most of every day. For this post, I’m going to follow the template that Erika made on her post just because I think it’s the most simple so I’ll be dividing my goals up into four separate categories; travel, career, relationships and well-being. Hopefully this post will inspire you guys to focus on yourselves and make the most out of 2019 too!
A Little Reflection on Life
Here I am at Café de Flore, the oldest coffee house in Paris and the epitome of the perfect Parisian café cliché. Once a hangout of the artistic elite such as Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Picasso, the ambience created in this charming café between the classic French decor and the jolly waiters emptying jugs of thick, hot chocolate into porcelain coffee cups while you pensively watch the world go by from the terrace is enough to make you feel like the star of an old Audrey Hepburn film.
Paris is no doubt the type of city that has so many awe-inspiring sights and scenes at every corner you turn, from the tall monuments that stand all along the lengths of the Seine, to the explosion of life happening all throughout the city’s sandstone streets, there are so many reasons to appreciate the world around you. Honestly, in a place as culturally enriching as Paris, it’s hard not to feel anything other than lucky to be alive.
In light of the thoughtful ambience of Cafe de Flore, and the feelings of pure bliss that go hand in hand with sipping a coffee from here, today I thought I would share with you my top seven ways to live a happier life.
My 2017 In Review
It’s hard to believe that the last timeI updated my blog was on New Year’s Eve. Thinking about how fast my time in Ireland flew by over the Christmas break is a bit daunting but honestly I’m so happy to be back in Paris and to be writing our first post here on our blog from the top floor of my brand new Parisian apartment.
I’m not going to lie when I say that 2017 really was one of the best years of my life so far, if not the best one yet. Throughout the year I had so many amazing opportunities to find myself, who I really was and what really made me happy. Not only that, but I also started to make better decisions for myself and overcome some really ballsy goals I set for myself that I’m pretty proud of. Today I wanted to sum up my 2017 for you guys and maybe it’ll give you some inspiration for the new year. Let’s start!
For an Unforgettable Experience
Today’s post is something a little more serious than usual. Last year I decided to take a year out from college to start our blog, our YouTube channel and ultimately to discover what I really wanted out of life. Today I wanted to talk to you a little about that.

I seriously can’t wait for you to see this one. It’s a lookbook on how I style leather/wet-look leggings. I made this mainly because somebody suggested it in the comments and I thought it would be a lot of fun to show you the different outfits and styles I could come up with. A sneak-peak of my newest lookbook.
Recently I got the chance to film a lookbook for you guys as part of the launch of my YouTube channel. (UPDATE: The channel is ready and the video is live now!)
Seeing as how I already posted these outfits to instagram, (I just could not contain my excitement!) I thought I’d give you a more detailed sneak-peak here on our blog!
These outfits feature some of my favourite SS17 trend staples. They are playful, colourful , cute and best of all, they make a statement.
The most amazing thing about shooting this lookbook was the fact that I got to visit some really beautiful landscapes and experiment with some really picturesque locations. One of these locations was the Powerscourt House and Gardens in County Wicklow. If you’re ever visiting Ireland, or if you do live here and have never been before, I definitely recommend you go there. It’s just like being in a fairytale.
