How I Am, What I’m Doing
I’m always instagramming and my blogging about my favourite beauty products, places to visit and what to do in Paris at the moment but it’s actually quite rare that I come on here and have an intimate chat with you guys about the various things going on in my life right now. Today I thought I would share with you guys the different things going on in my busy schedule at the moment but be prepared, it’s all pretty hectic!
A mini-travel guide to Orléans
Last weekend myself and my friend Lyne decided to go on a little girly getaway for a few days. We didn’t want to spend too much time travelling because we were rather limited for time so when we saw that Orléans was just a two hour drive away from Paris, we packed our bags and booked a hotel for the weekend.
In today’s post I’m sharing some of my favourite things to do in Orléans with you guys as well as the photos from my trip.
A Few Days A La Campagne
Earlier this week a friend of mine invited me to spend a few days in the countryside in the South of France. If you guys follow me on Instagram then you’ve probably seen a lot of the snaps I shared of my trip on my stories. After going through the photos since my return to Paris, I realise I had a lot more to share than I originally thought so today’s blogpost is all about sharing some vibes from the French countryside.
Some Things I Wish I Had Known Before Moving My Life To Paris
A little over eight months ago I completely uprooted my life by leaving behind everything I knew in Dublin to start over from scratch in Paris. This was definitely one of the stupidest, scariest and bravest things I ever did in my life but luckily I somehow found a way of making it work. Despite the success I have had so far in this city, the beginning of my journey threw a lot of difficulties my way so today I thought I would share five of the things I wish I had known before moving to France. Let’s start.
A Marie-Antoinette Salon-de-Thé in the Heart of Paris
Just a few days ago I came across photos of Nina’s Marie Antoinette online and as soon as I saw that such a place existed in Paris I just couldn’t wait to check it out. When we were in the area yesterday, myself and my friend Lyne decided we would take the opportunity to spoil ourselves with an afternoon tea.
One of The Best Hot Chocolates in Paris
It seems as though all of my posts have been about hot chocolate lately but for an absolute chocaholic such as myself, Paris literally is the definition of heaven on earth.
The city isn’t only sugar-coated with alluring architecture and stunning monuments around every corner, it’s also brimming with enticing boutiques and candy-coloured cake shops that charm you in their doorways similarly to how french men do, while perfectly stacked pyramids of macarons and pastries seem to serenade your name from opulent window displays.
But of all the love affairs I have had so far during my time living in the city, my fondness for the menu at Angelina Paris remains eternal.
Christmas is Coming!
The first of December has finally arrived which means it’s officially time to get into the festive mood. And what better way to mark the first day of Christmas than starting our advent calendars?
