Modelling in Paris

 

In today’s video I got to model in a photo studio in Montmartre with some of my friends. Honestly it was a crazy experience because I’ve had so many opportunities to do little modelling jobs here and there in Paris and A LOT of them involved me standing out in the cold for hours, shivering between changing outfits. It felt so good to be warm inside a photo studio!

You’ll see in this video that we played a lot with different lighting, poses and effects to create the best portrait photo. I really hope you enjoy! I’m going to leave the photos down below so you guys can see the result of the photoshoot.

If you guys have seen my latest thrifting video over on YouTube you’d know that I’ve been trying plenty of new styles and vintage looks lately. Every time I find something beautiful in a recycling centre, secondhand store or on Depop for cheap I just get such an adrenaline kick out of it. Not only is buying second hand way cheaper than buying new but also it’s guilt-free shopping that has a low impact on the environment. I can’t stress enough how fun it is to thrift and it’s such a great feeling whenever you find something that you like.

Let’s Talk About University! My Experiences Studying in Dublin VS Paris

Recently on facebook I saw pictures from my old classmates that they had graduated college in Ireland. I had no idea that the graduation season was upon us already but congratulations to anyone who got their degree!

Unfortunately graduation isn’t really a big event in France. There’s no celebration where you dress up and wear the cute hats and old-timey cloaks. Nothing is really organised within the university as a big event, or at least not by the university anyway. You basically just finish your exams in May, hope to get your degree in the post over the summer and off you go.

Ive been studying in Paris for two years now and this year marks my final year. Today I decided to make a post about what its like studying in France since its basically taking up my whole life recently. Hopefully if any of you are thinking about studying abroad or are just curious, the post will help you out!

Autumn is here and so is my favourite season! As an autumn baby and a libra myself I have always really resonated with the change of weather in October. I just love to see the leaves falling from the trees, how the colour palette of the world changes from green to orange and how all of the autumn warm colours contrast with the dark blue sky in the evenings. The weather this time of year is perfect for hot cups of tea, chai lattes, warm blankets, cuddles and cosy sweaters and what could honestly be better than that?

I really come into my element in the Autumn and especially during October because I get so excited for Halloween, my birthday and just spooky season in general so it’s a  given that I would feel like my style is at its peak this time of year.
