The Place Vendôme is one of the most expensive areas in Paris. It’s a luxury fashion hub and people from all over the world come here to visit the haute couture fashion houses and to buy rare jewels from them. If ever you’re lucky enough to afford diamonds from the most exclusive luxury brands, this is the place to go to.
At Christmas every year the decorations here are always stunning and the glimmering lights on the trees always reflect the glittering gold jewellery and diamonds that you’ll find in the window displays.
Anyway here is my outfit…

Nothing quite says Christmas to me like a silver dress. This is one that you’ve probably seen a thousand times by now if you’re an avid follower of our blog. Originally from TopShop, it’s one of the best things I ever thrifted on depop and a dress that suits so many occasions.
The cute feel from the peter pan collar is a must for me during the winter and the lace detailing encapsulates a refined elegance that is perfect for browsing the chicest areas of the city. When it comes to putting an outfit together, there is nothing I love more than playing with shapes and textures which is why I love the contrast between the pattern on the dress and the pattern on the tights, the delicate feel of the dress and the grungy look of the boots (which I also thrifted for €7 by the way.)
For makeup then I used by Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette to create an array of reds and golds and I paired that with a soft red lip. I’ve really been loving rusty eyeshadow looks lately so I couldn’t be more delighted with how well it works for completing this holiday look.
I really hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments what you think of this look. It’s been a while since I posted an outfit but I’ll hopefully have more coming soon!
