Back to School Rilakkuma Unboxing

The Haul of My Dreams

Look at who is finally updating her blog after such a long time! How are you all doing? I’m not gonna lie when I say that these past few weeks have been incredibly busy for me now that school has finally started. It seems like for most of us, the back to school season is finally upon us and in full swing. And as depressing as it is being bombarded with assignments so soon after the summer, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as beginning a new year by stocking up on some new stationery to freshen up your workspace. The new school year for me has always been about new beginnings which is why I love to begin it surrounded by as much colour as possible.

By now, most of you are probably familiair with my long-standing obsession over all things Rilakkuma-related so when I saw that Q-Box were offereing a back-to-school kit full of adorable Rilakkuma goodies, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

One of my favourite things about getting new stationery is the fact that it gives me the illusion of being more organised. (And hey, sometimes it actually works.)

The first thing I fell utterly in love with from the box was this adorable little writing kit containing a mini notebook, two mechanical penicls, some refills as well as an eraser. Personally I just love how bright and happy the illustrations are on each piece. That kind of thing really takes the mundane feeling out of studying I think.

The next thing that came from the box is without a doubt my favourite of all and it’s this amazing little pencil case with KoRilakkuma dressed up as a bunny rabbit. The ears are just so cute and the material feels so soft, like an actual teddy bear. Honestly, you have no idea how hard it is to contain my excitement that I own this now. Just look at that cute little face!

One thing I couldn’t get over about this box was the fact that it came with the most amazing earphones ever. When it comes to going to school/college, earphones are an obvious essential to get you through the daily grind, especially if you have to commute. Now that I get to wear these little Rilakkuma bears in my ears, I feel like I can only be happy leaving the house in the morning. I just thinkk they looks so cute.

The box also came with a mini water bottle and a bento box that included a set of chopsticks. I actually really like the practicality of the bento box because there are different layers that separate so you can actually store quite a lot of food in it as well as different types that you don’t want to mix. It even came with a ribbon you can tie around it to make extra sure that nothing falls out.

If there’s one thing that makes my heart sing when it comes to stationery it’s cute stickers. They are without a doubt the handiest things you can have for making your notes prettier when you’re studying and I don’t know about you but I always feel like I can remember things so much better as long as I have some kind of visual aid. These stickers in particular actually made me melt. You barely even have to look at them to know that they’ll make your notes instantly more adorable and if you’re the type of person who likes to decorate your notes like a bullet journal then they’re pretty handy too.

Not only were there stickers in the box, but it also came with these colourful little page markers which are always handy to have for highlighting the important parts of your textbooks.

And last but not least, Q-Box also included this little foldable tote back which is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever owned. I know in the picture it just looks like a tiny handbag but when you remove the button from the clasp, you have an entirely new totebag to fit any extra books and groceries in. It’s genius. And the best thing about it is the fact that it can fit right in your handbag.

And that’s it for this back to school unboxing. I really hope you guys enjoyed. I know to a lot of people this haul looks really childish but kawaii fashion is all about the playful and colourful things in life, so why not use that to add a bit of cheer to going back to school? If you want to check out Q-Box, I’ve left the links embedded in the text above. Every month they release a different kind of subscription box with lots of different surprises in them. The concept reminds me a lot of those “lucky bags” you’d get in school when you were little.

Have you guys been buying any nice stationery this season for starting back? Do you think it helps? I’d love for you to let me know in the comments below.

That’s all from me for now. Thank you guys so much for reading and I’ll see you very soon in my next post.
