Morning and Nighttime Products for Maintaining Healthy, Glowing Skin.
Hey guys! Welcome back to another beauty post here on LaDameWhoFellToEarth.
Recently I revamped my morning and night routine with some amazing Korean beauty products and today I felt like sharing my current skincare regime with you.
It’s really only over the course of the past year or so that I have discovered the holy grail that is Korean skincare and there can be no doubt that Korean girls have got their skincare down. You barely even need to take one glance at them to notice how flawless their skin is.
At the moment I couldn’t be more obsessed with stocking up and trying out new skincare supplies that are going to take my pampering regime to the next level and while I have been testing and trying a tonne of products lately, these are the ones that have properly made it into my daily routine.
If I’m feeling like my skin is in need of a revitalising boost in the morning, using my Tony Moly Black Sugar Scrub usually gives it the lift it needs. It’s very gentle when it comes to buffing away dead skin cells and always leaves my skin feeling super soft after washing. The consistency is quite sticky like honey though, which I know bothers certain people who don’t like that texture. However I find it really effective as an exfoliant. It’s very light and non-irritating and the added ingredient of honey means that it’s gentle yet still packs a powerful punch as it is full of antioxidants and is great for fighting acne.
A really fresh and light moisturiser to use in the morning. If you read my previous K-Skincare Haul you’d know that I have been loving everything I tried out of the Etude House Moistfull Collagen range. My favourite thing about this moisturiser is how quickly it soaks into the skin, especially after exfoliating. Its anti-ageing properties and active collagen ingredients means that it plumpens skin and helps maintain a young, healthy and vibrant-looking face. I love using Emulsions like these as moisturisers. They absorb into the skin really quickly and have never left my face looking oily or greasy.
I discovered this product not all that long ago and it has since become one of my favourite face creams ever. And I really mean ever. If you’re looking to achieve porcelain skin and even out discolouration on the face then I honestly couldn’t recommend anything better.
Don’t be put off by the cutesy packaging. The Panda’s Dream Whitening Cream is amazing for making your skin appear a shade paler (which is perfect for me because naturally my face is a shade darker than my neck.) It erases redness and dark spots when applied and it works great as a priming base for makeup and as a moisturiser on its own too. The only thing about it though is that the consistency is very thick so be careful when you’re applying it to only put on a tiny amount.
The final step in my morning routine is to apply a sunscreen. My favourite right now is this one by Etude House. It’s factor 50+ so you know that there’s no chance of tanning or burning when you applied throughout the day. It’s very light and very smooth so you can apply it over your makeup without worrying about ruining your foundation or your face looking greasy.
I really love the consistency of this toner because it is light and jelly-like. It does a great job at removing excess makeup leftover from cleansing. Paired with the Etude House Emulsion, these products feel really moisturising and energising which is something my tired face always needs at the end of a long day.
I’ve talked a lot about this eye-cream in both previous vlogs and blogposts. I love the bouncy consistency of the collagen-infused formula and using it on my under-eye area feels really softening and soothing, especially after removing my makeup. Not gonna lie I am a bit worried about premature ageing around my under-eye area so having such a strong blast of collagen via my eye-cream at night definitely helps ease those anxieties.
4.) Collagen Sleeping Pack
Applying a sleeping pack just before my head hits the pillow at night is the most perfect way to ensure that my skin gets an overnight-surge of moisture. Both this pig by Tony Moly and the Etude House Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack are loaded with collagen and other nourishing ingredients so you always wake up to healthy, plump-looking skin in the morning.
So this was my complete Korean skincare regime. As usual links to all products are embedded in the pink text above.
Have you guys ever tried out Korean beauty products? Do you have any you could recommend me? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below!
That’s all from me for now. Thank you guys so much for reading and I’ll see you very soon in my next post!
