A sneak-peak of my newest lookbook.
Recently I got the chance to film a lookbook for you guys as part of the launch of my YouTube channel. (UPDATE: The channel is ready and the video is live now!)
Seeing as how I already posted these outfits to instagram, (I just could not contain my excitement!) I thought I’d give you a more detailed sneak-peak here on our blog!
These outfits feature some of my favourite SS17 trend staples. They are playful, colourful , cute and best of all, they make a statement.
The most amazing thing about shooting this lookbook was the fact that I got to visit some really beautiful landscapes and experiment with some really picturesque locations. One of these locations was the Powerscourt House and Gardens in County Wicklow. If you’re ever visiting Ireland, or if you do live here and have never been before, I definitely recommend you go there. It’s just like being in a fairytale.
Of course sporting a floral dress in a location like this is the perfect recipe for instant princess vibes. Stomping around the huge courtyard in a pair of your favourite heels is a definite bonus when it comes to nailing the queen of the castle look, but be warned, the distances you have to walk in this place in order to see the entire house and gardens are LOOONG so flats are recommended.
Taking some inspo from SS17’s key colour palette and yellow-mania trend meant that I couldn’t wait to flaunt the vibrant shades of this gorgeous Topshop midi-dress. The botanical print is just so fun, sunny and full of life. Plus, there can be no denying that the way the jagged cut of the fabric falls is just so beautiful, billowy and elegant, making it the perfect eye-catching piece to add to your Spring/Summer wardrobe this season.
Because this dress is the kind that ties around you (and let’s be honest, wrap dresses are the reason why most of us have trust issues) adding some simple denim and a basic black top underneath means that you can interchange your outfit between open and closed depending on what you wanna flaunt.
I just love this outfit so much. Especially the way it blends in with the Spring meadows and flowery landscape. I can’t wait for you guys to see it once the video is up!

It’s no lie that we have all been loving the gingham trend. A print once synonymous with tea towels and table cloths, bo-peep and her sheep, not to mention our grandmother’s curtains, gingham has become the print of the season with its fresh, breezy, yet jazzed up, reinvented SS17-ready and rebellious vibe. And let me tell you, this oversized H&M dress is everything.
Maybe I’ve spent too much time in the countryside and reading old fairytales but there’s just something about the combination of gingham and red that just looks so good. Here I gave the new season trends a nod by matching this oversized corset belt with this teeny, tiny mini handbag, To add a bit of attitude, opting for the combination of fishnets, lace-up boots and oversized sunnies is always a good go-to for rocking that bad-girl vibe.
