Accessorize Haul

It’s time for another haul!

In the early days of my budding personal style, accessories were something that I always completely overlooked. Style used to be exclusively about the clothes for me and to be honest, it’s only recently that I have begun to appreciate the serious difference that some decent jewellery can make to your entire look and to your attitude. Be it the bad-girl vibe that goes hand in hand with boasting your favourite velvet choker to the world, or the stark levels of unrivalled drama a pair of oversized statement earrings can add to your makeup look, the transformative power of accessories is just amazing. Not only is jewellery a serious game-changer for upping the anti on your day-to-day fashion exploits, it’s also a miracle worker for making an otherwise plain outfit look like something completely different and new.

But when it comes to accessorising, the quickest and easiest way to go about it is always to turn towards your trusty handbag. No matter how tired, lazy and soooo not bothered you may be feeling on a particular day, your neat little handbag friend will never let you down when it comes to making you look presentable while all at the same time keeping you well equipped with it’s necessary contents needed to tackle all of the day’s obstacles.

With all of this in mind, going shopping in Accessorize was an obvious choice. Here are some of the things I got on my latest shopping spree. Are you ready? Let’s start!

The first thing I got were these adorable chokers. Two come in a packet of them so you can wear one delicately around your neck by itself or you can wear the two of them together to make more of a statement. I love mixing and matching jewellery so getting two different kinds of chokers that I could play around and experiment with was a must for me. Layered with some other longer necklaces, chokers will always look neat and stylish. I especially love the pink ones. They are just so unique to me.

Next, I picked up these beautiful semi-precious stone necklaces. The colours in these stones are just so mysterious and enchanting. In the shop there were loads of the light green shade on the rail, but when I saw this onyx one, I just fell so in love with how unusual it was.

The next necklace is a really pretty gold one. I thought that the disk pendant was really intricately designed and had such an exotic, summery vibe to it. I love wearing jewellery that’s reminiscent of a boho style and with the weather finally getting a bit more cheery, a necklace like this was going to be perfect. (I bought this in-store but it doesn’t seem to be on the website yet. I did manage to find a similar one here though.)

I grabbed a few more pieces of gold jewellery, except these are all matching. This bracelet,  (similar) and earrings (similar) all work so effortlessly well together which is really refreshing.

In the way of bags I actually got quite a few! The first of which is this simple black tote bag. For me, a good quality black bag like this is a must-have in my wardrobe because it will match mostly every outfit. It’s structured so that it will never lose it’s shape no matter how heavy it gets. It comes with a detachable strap so you can wear it cross-body if you want and it’s super practical due to its separate compartments and zips to keep all of your most valuable day-to-day belongings safe.

I am in love with this adorable vintage-style satchel bag so much that I can’t wait to have the opportunity to wear it somewhere nice. There is so much space in this and I really can’t wait for college to start again for me just so that I can throw all of my books and folders in it and wear it around the campus. The old style leather look really appealed to me and it’s so satisfying to own a bag that’s so neat, practical and stylish at the same time.

The final thing in the haul is this super cute mini backpack. The vibrant colour makes me so happy and carrying this around is just a dream because it fits so much and looks so smart.

So these were all of the bits and bobs I nabbed while I was in Accessorize. Do you guys ever shop there? Do you like to wear jewellery? Let me know in the comments below!

That’s all from me for now. Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you very soon in my next post.
